We are proud of our medal winning Petone Dry gin – but wondered if we could make a great gin even better. So, we have done a limited edition run of double distilled Petone Dry. The dry juniper start of classic Petone dry is lifted and smoothed by the second distillation and the cassia and kawakawa is amplified into a lovely spicy finish.
This is what our tasting panel had to say:
“Warm feel and citrus initially then spice/liquorice. Peppery and zingy, round and soft. Yum!”
“Citrusy top notes and texture/mouth feel is just right. Feels like a lovely light, summer gin. Complex and beautifully smooth.”
“Dry, balanced juniper with a perfumed/balanced texture. Warming, reminds me of Zanzibar and the Spice of India.
