Description
We can’t call this delightful aniseed flavoured spirit by it’s best known name, so we are using it’s affectionate Greek nickname To Farmako, which translates as “The Medicine”.
We’ve taken locally foraged fennel and kawakawa seed, blended them with aniseed and star anise and then carefully distill with our finest base spirit in our traditional copper still “Dorothy”.
We are pretty sure this will be the smoothest “not Ouzo” you’ve ever tasted. Sweet aniseed flavours are well balanced and the overall effect is a beautifully rounded spirit.
Traditionally this would be enjoyed neat with a coffee or as a long drink topped up with spring water. To Farmako Is a great aperitif and goes really well chilled with a platter.
